This notice describes the current Madar Tools preview at madartools.com. It covers the directory, search, PDF and image tools, saved tools and device preferences.

Files, accounts and search
There is no account registration, payment facility or server file upload. Directory searches run in your browser. We do not send your search text to a search or analytics service. The PDF and image tools read files you explicitly choose and process them locally in browser memory. Files, filenames, page contents and generated outputs are not sent to our server, advertising providers or analytics services. They are not stored in local storage or IndexedDB. Use Clear files or leave the page to release the workspace and its download links. Your original files are not changed.
What this browser can remember
Optional storage is disabled by default. Your choices are separate:

These records use local storage in this browser. This site does not send their contents to our server. Expired records are removed on the next visit. Previously stored preferences without a current choice are also removed. Other people using the same browser profile may be able to see saved tools and recent history.
You can change or withdraw permission at any time using Privacy settings in the footer. Rejecting optional storage leaves the directory and search available. Saving a tool or changing the theme without permission affects the current page only. You can also remove site data in your browser settings.
Website delivery and security
Opening a page sends standard request information to the hosting and network services that deliver it. This can include your IP address, requested URL, browser information and request time. This information can be processed for delivery, reliability, security and investigating abuse. Optional browser-storage controls do not prevent these necessary network requests.
Hosting-log retention and provider details are being reviewed for the final launch. We do not claim a fixed deletion period for infrastructure logs in this preview. Contact us for questions about information that may be held by the hosting service.
If you contact us
Emailing [email protected] shares your email address and the information you choose to send with the mailbox and email providers involved. The contact mailbox uses Gmail. Your message is used to handle your request and any necessary follow-up. Please send only the information needed for your question. Do not send passwords or private files unnecessarily.
Advertising, analytics and third parties
This preview includes no Google AdSense code or advertising cookies. Its application does not run analytics or third-party tracking scripts. Fonts, styles and application scripts are served with the site. Choosing optional device storage does not authorize future advertising or analytics.
The site is delivered through Cloudflare. Its automatic Web Analytics feature currently inserts an analytics script tag into some page responses. The site’s browser security rules block that script from loading and block analytics connections. Cloudflare and the hosting service can still process the request information needed to deliver and protect the website.
External links and your email app may have their own privacy practices. Opening an email link does not automatically send a message.
Your choices and rights
Where data-protection law applies, necessary delivery and security processing is based on the legitimate interest in operating and protecting the service. Optional device storage is based on your permission. Correspondence is handled to respond to your request.
Depending on your location and the applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal data, restrict or object to processing, receive certain data in a portable form, withdraw consent and complain to a relevant data-protection authority. Contact [email protected] to make a request. We may need proportionate information to confirm that a request concerns your data. We cannot remotely read or erase local storage on your device, so use the controls above for that data.
Changes as tools are released
The available PDF and image tools explain supported file types, file-size limits and output limitations on their own pages. Rendering, image encoding and PDF writing use self-hosted libraries in browser workers. Supporting fonts, codecs and decoding resources are requested from this site. Image exports are normalized to 8-bit sRGB, preserve visual orientation and do not copy source EXIF, GPS or other metadata. Future tools, advertising or analytics will receive updated disclosures and any required consent controls before activation. Other tool categories remain in development.
