Questions about PDF Editor
Can I edit existing text or securely hide information?
You can add new text and graphics. This tool does not replace existing text, perform OCR or securely redact information. Covering content with a rectangle leaves its original information in the PDF.
Can I sign a PDF?
Use Draw / sign to add a handwritten mark. This is a visual signature, not cryptographic signing or identity verification.
Which PDFs are supported?
Unlocked PDFs up to 25 MB and 100 pages. XFA forms are unsupported. Interactive forms need saved appearances and explicit flattening acknowledgment.
Is editing and signing a PDF free?
Yes. You can use PDF Editor for free without signing up or paying. The input, format and processing limits shown in this workspace still apply.
