Website address

Use a complete http:// or https:// address. The destination is not visited or checked.

Output settingsDark ink, white background and a protected border.

Higher error correction can make a denser code. SVG retains vector modules. No logo overlay or transparent background.

Up to 2,000 UTF-8 bytes. Higher error correction may fit less.

How to create a QR code

  1. Choose a website link, plain text or Wi-Fi network and enter its details.
  2. Choose the error correction level, ink color and PNG dimensions, then create your code.
  3. Download PNG or SVG and test it with your intended scanner before sharing or printing.

Static means direct.

The code carries your link or text, or the chosen Wi-Fi details. There is no tracking redirect or editable destination managed by Madartools.

Downloaded codes do not depend on this website staying open. The website or network they point to must remain available.

Questions about QR codes

Do these QR codes expire?

The generated code contains your information directly. Madartools adds no redirect, subscription, scan limit or expiry. The destination must still exist, and Wi-Fi details must remain valid. Changing the encoded information requires a new code. This is a static generator, not a dynamic link service.

Are my link, text and Wi-Fi password uploaded?

No. A self-hosted encoder runs in a local browser worker. Inputs, encoded content and results are not uploaded, saved to device preferences or added to the page URL. Clear all or leaving the page clears the workspace. Downloaded files remain wherever you keep them. A Wi-Fi code contains the password and anyone who can scan it can read that information. It is not encrypted.

Which website links work?

Website mode requires a complete HTTP or HTTPS address without a username, password, spaces, control characters or backslashes. The browser normalizes the address, including international hostnames and percent encoding. Inspect Show encoded content to review the exact destination. The tool does not visit the destination, verify that it is safe or shorten it.

Does it support Persian and other languages?

Yes. Non-ASCII content uses UTF-8 bytes with an explicit UTF-8 ECI marker. Text, spaces and line breaks are retained. Scanner language and ECI support can vary, so test the output on your intended devices. Up to 2,000 UTF-8 bytes are accepted. Higher error correction can fit fewer bytes.

Which Wi-Fi networks are supported?

WPA/WPA2 Personal uses the common WIFI: payload format. Network names may contain up to 32 UTF-8 bytes. Passwords must be 8–63 printable ASCII characters or exactly 64 hexadecimal characters. Open networks omit the password. Hidden networks are optional. Special characters in the name and password are escaped. Device support varies; enterprise, WEP and WPA3-only configurations are outside scope.

Why is there a white border?

A four-module quiet zone is preserved on every side. PNG pixels align to whole square modules, with any remaining pixels added to the white outer margin. SVG is a vector image with the same quiet zone. Keep the border, use a clear background and test the final printed or resized version.

Which error correction level should I choose?

Medium is a useful starting point. Low, Medium, Quartile and High change how much redundancy is encoded. Higher levels can create a denser code or reject a long payload. No level guarantees that a damaged code will scan. This tool does not add logos, remove modules or use transparent backgrounds.

What is included in the exported files?

PNG is exactly the selected square pixel size. SVG retains square vector modules. SVG is delivered inside a ZIP archive; extract the vector file before use. Both use an opaque white background and your selected dark ink. The SVG contains only a fixed title, background and numeric module paths, without your text in metadata, scripts, external resources or tracking pixels. The QR image itself still encodes the complete content.

Is creating and downloading QR codes free?

Yes. You can use QR Code Generator for free without signing up or paying. The input, format and processing limits shown in this workspace still apply.
